Home flood defense is a layered strategy that seals every path water can take into your house. Barriers are one layer. A complete defense also stops water from backing up through your sewer line, pushing through flood vents, and drowning the generator that keeps your lights on after the storm.
We learned this the hard way. Our founders’ homes flooded in Hurricane Helene, and water did not politely knock on the front door. It came through garages, drains, and openings nobody had thought about. That is why we build defense as a system, not a product. Every plan starts with a free assessment that maps each vulnerability on your property, then covers all of them with equipment fabricated by our own team in St. Petersburg.

Where water actually gets in.
Perimeter openings
Doors, garage doors, sliders, and walkouts are the obvious entries. Custom aluminum barriers seal each one, rated to 10 feet of water.
The sewer line
Surge pressurizes the sewer system and sends water up through drains, toilets, and showers. Backflow prevention closes that door from the inside.
Flood vents
Vents that let water out of a crawlspace can also let it in. Engineered covers manage that trade the right way.
Your backup power
A standby generator sitting at grade floods at the exact moment you need it. A custom enclosure shields it while keeping airflow and service access intact.

How is flood defense different from flood barriers?
Barriers are one layer, the panels that seal doors and openings. Flood defense is the whole plan. A barrier on the front door does not help if water backs up through the shower drain.
What does a complete plan include?
A free assessment of every vulnerability, custom aluminum barriers for your openings, backflow prevention, vent covers, and generator protection where needed, plus deployment training or our storage and deployment service.
How much water can the system hold back?
Barriers are rated to hold back up to 10 feet of water, built from aerospace-grade aluminum rated to 40,000+ PSI with gaskets that seal tighter as pressure rises.
How fast can it be deployed?
About an hour for most homes. Panels are light enough for one person. Prefer not to think about it? Our team stores and deploys for you when a storm threatens.
